Shoreline Social Solutions · Recon

Start with the Recon.

A free hour on how your business actually runs. You leave with a plan either way, whether you hire us or not.

What it is

Most marketing gets sold before anybody looks.

Every agency that lands in your inbox already knows what you need. They knew before they looked at your business, because what you need happens to be whatever they sell. That is backwards, and it is why so many local businesses are paying every month for something that was never going to work.

Recon is short for reconnaissance. It is the part that happens before any decision gets made, where somebody goes and looks at the ground instead of trusting the briefing. We spend an hour on how your business actually runs, and then we tell you what is really there.

The Recon is free.

It is always free, there is nothing attached to it, and there is nothing to sign.

One hour
That is the whole commitment. No homework, no prep work on your end, no gathering paperwork first.
The findings are yours
If we look and find you are paying twice for the same thing, we are going to tell you. You can act on that with us or without us.
No number up front
We cannot price what we have not seen. Anyone who quotes you before understanding your business is quoting you their product, not your problem.

How it works

Two conversations, and you keep what comes out of them.

You are not handing your business over to a stranger. You start with us, and we bring in the right people once we know what we are looking at.

  1. 01

We sit down with you first

You meet with us here in Wilmington, in person or on a call, whichever is easier. We learn what you do, what has been working, and what has been frustrating you. This is also where we walk you through how the rest of it works, so nothing that comes next is a surprise.

  2. 02

    Then we bring in Omnyra

We set up a second meeting with our partners at Omnyra, a veteran owned team based right here in Wilmington. That meeting is the Recon itself. They look at how your business actually operates rather than how a vendor assumed it does.

  3. 03

You get a plan either way

You get back a plain language rundown of what was found, what could be faster, better, or cheaper, and what it would cost to fix. If you want us to do the work, we scope it from there. If you do not, you still keep everything we found.

The ground we walk

What an hour actually covers.

We are not guessing at your business from the outside. These are the six places we look, and any one of them can turn out to be the thing that has been costing you.

How customers find you

Local search, maps, and the free Google listing that decides whether you show up at all when somebody nearby goes looking for what you do.

What your website is doing

Not how it looks. Whether it loads, whether it ranks, and whether the people who land on it ever turn into a phone call.

Where your leads end up

What happens to a call after hours, a form nobody saw, a message that sat all weekend. This is where local businesses quietly lose the most work.

What you are already paying for

The retainers, the contracts, the tools on autopay. Some of it is earning its keep. Some of it stopped a long time ago and nobody checked.

Where the room to grow is

The services worth putting weight behind, the towns worth covering, and the work you are already good at that nobody in your market can find.

What is worth keeping

Sometimes the honest answer is that what you have is fine and you should not spend a dollar changing it. We say that too.

Proof

What a first look turns up.

One home services company had a set of books nobody trusted and a website run by an outside agency. Nothing looked obviously broken from the front. Here is what the first review found.

$95,000

owed to the business that nobody was chasing, surfaced in the first review

$6,000

a month in recurring spend worth cutting, found inside the first week

4,400

monthly visitors landing on pages that returned an error

409

tracked keywords returning no organic visibility at all

And what happens once the plan gets built.

These are measured results from businesses built on the same platform we build on. Different owners, different problems, the same system behind it.

290 to 2,794

Salty Fox Services

Monthly search impressions, after twelve flat months on an old website builder page. First full month live on the new site.

103 to 412

ACS Roofing and Construction

Organic clicks in a single quarter, moving from the bottom of page two to the top of page one in a crowded trade.

495 to 5,839

Air Support HVAC

Website visitors in ninety days, with 161 calls and form submissions tracked so every lead has a source.

125 to 1,550

LeJeune Dance Company

Organic clicks a quarter at a 6.0% click through rate, after the studio was invisible to parents searching for classes.

Figures from Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, published by Omnyra with each client permission. These are Omnyra engagements on the platform Shoreline Social Solutions builds on, not a claim that every result here was delivered by us. Results vary by business, by market, and by what the work actually turns out to be.

What it costs

The number comes after the hour, not before it.

The Recon costs nothing and there is nothing attached to it. What comes after depends entirely on what turns up, and it is itemized so you can see what every line is for.

Some businesses need one build with a fixed scope and a fixed price. Some want us on month to month so there is somebody watching it. Plenty of them need quite a bit less than they were about to buy from somebody else, and we would rather be the people who told you that.

No packages

Nothing prebuilt for you to guess your way through, and no paying for the parts you never touch. The work is scoped to what actually turned up.

Month to month

Thirty days written notice from either side, from day one. No twelve month lock in and no lump sum you have to take on faith.

You own it

Your domain, your site, your content. Always. You are never locked into a platform you cannot leave, and you can take it with you.

Questions

The things people ask before they book.

Is it actually free, or is there a catch?

It is free, and there is nothing attached to it. You are not signing anything to sit down with us, and there is no trial that quietly turns into a bill. If we look at your business and the honest answer is that you do not need us right now, that is a perfectly good outcome and you still keep everything we found.

What do I need to have ready?

Nothing. No paperwork to dig up, no reports to pull, no homework beforehand. Bring whatever has been frustrating you and we will take it from there.

How much of my time does this take?

The first conversation with us is short, and the Recon itself is about an hour. That is the whole commitment. It helps if the people who actually run the day to day are in the room, because they know where the work really gets stuck.

What if I already have an agency or a marketing company?

That is often exactly when it is worth looking. A good share of what these reviews turn up is money going out every month for something that quietly stopped working a while ago. You do not have to fire anybody to find that out, and what we find is yours either way.

Do I have to buy something afterward?

No. You get the plan whether you hire us or not. If you want us to do the work, we price it after we have seen the business and we itemize it so you can see what every line is for. If you would rather take what we found and handle it yourself, that is yours to do.

What happens to what I tell you?

It stays between us. We do not pass your information around or sell it. If the Recon gets into your numbers, Omnyra takes read only access, which means they can see what is there but cannot change anything in your books.

Book your Recon.
